چکیده

Background Studies suggest that thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) positivity exposure during pregnancy may contribute to changes in placental morphology and pathophysiology. However, little is known about the association of maternal TPOAb with cytokines. This study focuses on effect repeated measurements Methods Based Ma’anshan Birth Cohort (MABC) China, levels were retrospectively detected first, second third trimesters. Placental tissues collected 30 minutes after childbirth, morphological indicators obtained by immediate measurement formula calculation, cytokine mRNA expression was real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) afterward. Generalized linear models mixed analyzed for relationships trimesters indicators. Results Totally 2274 maternal-fetal pairs included analysis morphology, 2122 Maternal early negatively associated length, thickness, volume, weight disc eccentricity, while positively correlated IL-6, TNF-α, CRP, CD68, MCP-1, IL-10, HO-1, HIF-1α GRP78. In mid-pregnancy, width area. late pregnancy, area, volume weight. Repeated measures showed tended increase CD68 MCP-1 decreasing area than negativity. GRP78, weight, eccentricity. Conclusion There be trimester-specific associations between inflammatory oxidative stress responses. The present throughout pregnancy. Early critical period

Relationship between Anti-Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody and Thyroid Function Test

Background: Anti-thyroid peroxidase antibody (anti-TPO antibody) is a member of thyroid autoantibodies which are important in inducing and also diagnosing autoimmune thyroid diseases. Thyroid autoimmunity can cause several forms of thyroiditis and abnormal thyroid functions, ranging from hypothyroidism to hyperthyroidism. Objective: To evaluate the relationship between serum levels of anti-TPO ...

High Body Mass Index Is an Indicator of Maternal Hypothyroidism, Hypothyroxinemia, and Thyroid-Peroxidase Antibody Positivity during Early Pregnancy

BACKGROUND Maternal thyroid dysfunction in early pregnancy may increase the risk of adverse pregnancy complications and neurocognitive deficiencies in the developing fetus. Currently, some researchers demonstrated that body mass index (BMI) is associated with thyroid function in nonpregnant population. Hence, the American Thyroid Association recommended screening thyroid function in obese pregn...
